Ongoing promotions, read as mechanics
Welcome offers get the headlines. What keeps appearing after week one — reloads, missions, tournaments — matters more for routine play. This page explains the formats neutrally; it does not recommend chasing offers.
Read first
Three lines that decide most offers
- Eligibility — new, existing or VIP-only; country and product (casino vs sports).
- Wagering — how many times bonus funds or winnings must be staked, and which games count.
- Expiry — hours or days before unused spins or bonus funds lapse.
If those three are unclear, skip the promotion. UK advertising rules also require prominent 18+ and terms messaging on the operator’s own creatives.
Reload offers
A reload is a bonus tied to a later deposit, often on a named weekday. The percentage and cap change; the structure does not: deposit within the window, opt in if required, receive bonus funds or spins, then complete wagering. Reloads are optional — declining one is always valid.
Tournaments
Tournaments rank players by points earned from qualifying spins or table results in a set period. Prizes may be cash, bonus funds or free spins. Leaderboards can favour high stake volume, so a “free to enter” event is not automatically low-cost play. Check whether points come from win size, spin count or stake size.
Missions and challenges
Missions ask you to complete small tasks — a number of spins on a game group, a live table session, or a login streak — in exchange for a modest reward. They are useful for learning a lobby; they are poor reasons to extend a session past your limit.
Loyalty and VIP ladders
Points accumulate from qualifying play and unlock tiers with perks such as faster support queues or occasional custom offers. Tier rules belong in the loyalty terms, not the homepage banner. Leaving a VIP scheme rarely requires a phone call; check the published exit process.
What promotions are not
They are not income plans. They do not change the long-run mathematics of casino games. They never remove the need for UKGC licensing, GamStop access or personal limits.
